Garden At Giverny

Giverny sits on the "right Bank" of the River Seine. The village lies 80 km (50 miles) from Paris, west and slightly north, on the border between the province of Normandyand the Île-de-France (it is officially in the département of Eure, in the région of Haute-Normandie).

Garden At Giverny was painted in 1900 by Claude Monet,It called Claude Monet's attention in 1883, who would move there his place of residence. In a beginning, he hired a house and his adjacent areas to a local landowner. Later, in 1890,
one better economic situation he would allow him to buy the house and to construct the impressive gardens that she wanted to paint.
The garden would be the scene of many of his more transcendent works, as the Nenuphars or the reservoir of the waterlilies and the Japanese bridge. The impressionistic teacher lived in Giverny from 1883 up to his death in 1926.
